TRIP COST for Your Personalized Adventure

Your trip will be custom designed so the actual cost will depend on what you want. The following estimates are for the average traveler staying in moderately priced accommodations.

*Price of international flight will be determined when reservation is made with individual airlines. Additional days and excursions will influence the total cost of your adventure.

In general, the land cost amount in each of these three countries will include the following:

• A customized itinerary, created with you in mind
• Cultural orientation, history, insights before and during the trip
• Up-to-date advice, literature, and research relevant to your trip, including your concerns, comfort, safety, curiosity, etc., prior to and during the trip.
• Personalized shopping or special orders if needed (trekking or travel equipment/gear)
• Flight information and reservations from Detroit; ticket cost is extra
• Guest house and hotel accommodations during the trip
• Arrangements and transportation expenses for what is planned in the itinerary
• Round trip domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (Nepal)
• Arrangements and fees for trekking/hiking permits and national parks
• Arrangements and expenses for local guides/porters while trekking (Nepal)
• Bus, train, taxi, subway transportation as determined by the itinerary
• Other logistics prior to and during the trip, services/requests as needed

The land cost will not include any unexpected costs that occur due to weather, trail, road, or river conditions or due to circumstances such as sickness, government action, flight delays, major changes in the itinerary, personal and free-time expenses, cold drinks or alcohol, extra hotel expenses, laundry, excess baggage charges, airport taxes, entry visas (Nepal visa $15-60), transportation and costs incurred while traveling to and from these countries ($500 to $1,500 for round trip tickets). Professional medical advice, inoculations, and travel insurance are not included. Costs for extending your vacation, other trips in the area or trips to other countries are not included.

HEALTH

Your health comes first. It is important that you let Of Global Interest LLC know if you have any medical conditions that may influence your health and safety on this trip. If you have any questions as to whether such a trip might be overly strenuous, please inquire. You may be trekking/touring in remote areas where hygiene, sanitation, and medical treatment and/or services may be of a lesser standard than yours. Also, professional and trained medical personnel may not be available for emergencies during treks in remote areas. Evacuation insurance is mandatory if trekking to high altitudes. Proof of insurance must be presented prior to departure. Any medications you need should be brought by you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You must be flexible in every situation. It is important that you are able to meet the demands of an adventure. The destination(s) as described in the itinerary is to be taken as a goal, not as a contractual obligation. It is necessary that you accept unforeseen conditions and understand that Of Global Interest LLC cannot be held responsible for delays or expenses beyond its control such as international flight cancellations, strikes, local regulations, sickness, weather, quarantine, political disputes, war or anything similar.

It is your responsibility to understand the trip conditions as implied in all correspondence from Of Global Interest LLC. You must do what is necessary on your behalf to make the trip successful. For example, you must read all information sent to you by Of Global Interest LLC, make informed medical decisions prior to travel, be motivated to getting the most out of this experience, and be open to new people, places, and ideas. You must be courteous, prepared, and on time throughout the trip.

Trip members must agree to an itinerary that meets their abilities and interests. You are responsible for being in good health to participate in this trip. It is your responsibility to bring the proper clothing and gear as advised by Of Global Interest LLC. You must respect your travel mates as well as the local people in the countries you visit. No matter how different, or strange you find things to be abroad, you will act in an appropriate and respectful manner. In the long run, the success of this trip relies mainly upon you.

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

A $300 deposit, deductible from the total balance, must be paid in order to reserve a place on the trip. This must be accompanied by the release of liability form, filled out completely, signed and dated by you. Upon receipt of your deposit, I will send a packet of pre departure information, including a clothing and equipment list, visa information, health, medical, and insurance information. Complete payment for the trip will be due one month prior to departure. Personal checks or money orders can be made out to Of Global Interest LLC. Payments submitted less than 30 days prior to departure must be in the form of cashier's check, money order or the equivalent.

At time of reservation > $300 Deposit (toward balance) > 30 days prior to departure Balance

Please realize, prices are subject to increase without prior notice. Between now and the time of the trip there may be significant fluctuation in international currency, an increase in the cost of services in Nepal, Hungary, Peru or Spain or other unforeseeable circumstances.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS

If you have already paid in full and must cancel your trip, it must be in writing. If you cancel 25 or more days prior to departure, you forfeit the deposit, $300. If you cancel 24-16 days prior to departure, you forfeit 50% of the total amount. If you cancel 15 or fewer days prior to departure, you must forfeit the entire cost. If international air tickets were purchased by Of Global Interest LLC, the airline's refund policy applies. Cancellation insurance covers these costs in certain emergencies. No refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips, or trekking arrangements. The land cost is quoted as a package and credits are not given. Of Global Interest LLC reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason, including problems that may hinder trip operations.

BAGGAGE

All baggage and your personal belongings are at your own risk at all times even when carried by porters. Of Global Interest LLC will not be responsible for any loss, damage or accident to any luggage and/or property.

LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN

I require a $300 deposit toward the cost of the trip.  This guarantees your space on the trip/destination of your choice.  We set dates.  I will make itineraries and travel plans and proceed to develop the tour.  Once we have something in mind, I will try to get the word out by sending messages to my mailing list and posting it on my website in the "Upcoming Tours" section.  If other travelers join us, great!  If not, we'll still go.  I will take 1 to 6 people in a group.  So if you get in your deposit early for whatever/whichever adventure interests you most - we'll be on the trail toward making it happen very soon.  Basically the deposit means you are serious.  If the trip does not materialize (however unlikely) I will guarantee a full refund of the deposit.

This means I need YOU to help me set my travel schedule for the year.

I will meet you at any airport, train or bus station - WORLDWIDE - in whichever city you choose.  Prior to departure, I will help you plan an itinerary to make the most of your time away.  I will drive the rental car, carry your bags, make hotel reservations, show you around, lead you on hikes, pitch your tent, help you decide what to do and make sure you accomplish your goals for the trip.  For example, if you want to trek to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, hike the trails in several national parks, swim in Lake Powell, climb Pikes' Peak, visit major cities or small villages in Europe, Asia, Australia, anywhere... --> we'll do it.
